This Privacy Policy explains how Sweatless Australia ("Sweatless", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information when you visit sweatlessau.com, create an account, place an order or contact us. Our store runs on Shopify.

Information we collect

Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, phone number, and billing and delivery addresses.
Order details: the products you buy, order history, returns and refund requests.
Account details: if you create an account, your login email and preferences.
Payment details: payments are processed by Shopify and our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
Messages: what you send us by email or through our contact form.
Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies" below).
Reviews: if you submit a product review, your review, rating, any photos you add and the display name you choose.

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you (for example at checkout or when you contact us), automatically when you use our site, and from our service providers when they process information on our behalf (for example payment confirmation or shipping tracking updates).

How we use it

To process, ship and track your orders, and to handle returns, refunds and warranty questions.
To manage your account and respond to your questions.
To send you order and shipping emails.
To send you marketing emails, only if you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. We do not send marketing by SMS or post.
To keep our store secure and prevent fraud.
To understand how our site is used and improve it.
To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and consumer law requirements.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the store:

Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout, and our payment providers, which process your payment.
Suppliers and logistics partners. Our products are shipped directly from our suppliers' warehouses. To fulfil your order, we give your name, delivery address and phone number to these suppliers and their shipping and delivery partners, most of which are located in China. Orders are passed to suppliers through our order management app (DSers) and supplier marketplace (AliExpress).
Judge.me, which runs our product reviews. If you submit a review, it is published on our store with the display name you choose.
Email and analytics tools we use to send order emails, newsletters you have signed up for, and to measure site traffic.
Authorities, when we are required by law.

Overseas disclosure

Some of the organisations above store or process personal information outside Australia. Your delivery details are disclosed to suppliers and logistics partners in China so your order can be shipped. Shopify and our app providers may store or process information in Canada, the United States and other countries. We take reasonable steps to make sure these providers handle your information securely and only for the purposes described in this policy.

Cookies

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to run the store (for example, to keep items in your cart and keep you signed in), to remember your preferences and, if you agree, to understand how the store is used. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through our cookie banner and change your choice at any time in your browser settings. Declining non-essential cookies does not stop you from shopping with us.

Security and retention

We use the security features of Shopify and our service providers to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive information such as card numbers by email. We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet tax, accounting and consumer law requirements.

Access, correction and your choices

You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can update most account details by signing in to your account. To make a request, email us at support@sweatlessau.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal information, please email us first at support@sweatlessau.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
